Since there are no listed times for Xtol Replenished I thought I’d be the first.
the time I used are a combination experience and WAG (wild-ass guess). I did it for 11 1/2 minutes at 72F. My processing of this first roll looks a bit over, Next roll I’ll cut the time by 20%.

Nice tones, good range, decent grain.
Shot with a tripod mounted Nikon F5 and the Nikkor 135mm f/3.5 Ai-S. I spot metered a few points in the frame to get an idea of the exposure, and since the sky was mostly clear with slight diffused sunlight I chose a 1/250th shutter speed and f/8, and set the F5 auto bracket (really nice feature BTW) to give me one right on, one full stop over and one full stop under. Both frames were usable, but to my eye the negatives looks a bit overdeveloped.
The top is a 5×7 silver print from my standard size, about an 6x enlargment. The print exposure was about 1/2 stop denser than my usual exposure, confirming again the slight overdevelopment. The bottom is another 5×7 print from the enlarger cranked up to make about a 20x enlargment. The prints were scanned at 300 dpi on my Epson 4990 Pro with low USM as a TIFF, imported to Aperture, no adjustments, then resized on export as a JPEG for this blog.
So far it looks like possible Other Option now that Kodak Plus-X is no longer being made. Its grainier, but I think I can tame it with adjusting the development.
From my understanding and more than a bit of pure conjecture, I think this film is a high quality level classic style emulsion, a totally new emulsion formula produced by ILFORD for the Kentmere brand using the newest of the AGFA coating line machines that Ilford bought after AGFA ceased APX film production. Just my guess.
But it does remind me a (more than a bit) of AGFA APX 100, as does my first test roll of Kentmere 400.
More testing to come…..Rodinal is next.
